SK Gaming have secured a spot at the Nord WCG qualifier finals, following a 2-0 victory against H2k Gaming.
It only took SK a little more than one hour to defeat H2k, showing magnificent Terrorists play on de_train. H2k started CT on de_train, which helped them very little, seeing SK race to a 12-3 lead at half-time. Especially Rasmus "Gux" Ståhl stood out for SK and seems like a solid pick for your Dreamteam. As CT, SK had no trouble taking four straight rounds to win 16-3.
Moving to second map de_inferno, SK this time started on the CT side. Once again SK showed they had H2k figured out, but the difference in level of skill was also noticable between the two teams. SK clinched a 13-2 lead before switching to the Terrorists side. Winning pistol-round was what H2k needed and by doing so, they picked up the following eco-rounds by SK.
SK got a hold of two rounds, which put them at matchpoint. H2k did however keep pushing and managed to continue winning rounds. In the last round of the match, H2k could force overtime, but Niklas "niko" Johansson was not able to win a 1-versus-2 situation, meaning a 16-14 win for SK. SK did not realize they had won, after they had typed 'GG', as they look like they were going to play overtime.
